Soo Motors and Ford Motors donate two vehicles to the auto CTE program.
On November 25, the auto shop received two vehicles due to the generation donation from Soo Motors and Ford Motor Company.
The partnership between the CTE program and Soo Motors has been longstanding and it's generous like this that allow students to continue excelling. Instructor Al Odbert said, "This is an awesome opportunity for our students because these cars have the newer technology including a communication system that all vehicles run on."
Senior Ryan Croff is an automotive student who also participates in work-based learning at Soo Motors. Croff spends an hour in auto shop and then applies those skills on the job when he goes to work during 6th and 7th hours.
The generosity and partnership of Soo Motors will allow our aspiring auto technicians to gain real-world experience on modern equipment, helping to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices.
When businesses, schools, and communities come together, the possibilities for our students are truly limitless.
