The Accounting/Finance program introduces students to the basics of the financial world. These basics are in every business, no matter the industry! Every business needs a financial system and employees to run the system. Students learn to plan, record, analyze and interpret financial information. This information will be useful regardless of your future employment.

Students enrolled in accounting will learn, practice, and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following:

• Personal Finance
• QuickBooks Certification
• Excel & Excel Expert Certification

Students in all business classes are eligible to join the Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter. In this career technical student organization, students are involved in school and community activities. They also have the opportunity to compete at the Regional, State, and National levels, choosing from over 50 business related contests.
