Getting a Work Permit
Looking to start working? You need a work permit!
Work permits are:
- Available in the Career Center office daily throughout the school year.
- Available in the administrative office throughout the summer
- You need a work permit if you are under the age of 18 and 14 years of age or older

How to get a permit?
To obtain a work permit during the school year, stop by the CTE Office and a member of staff will help you. Additionally, you can call (906) 635-3839, extension 5900.
Summer Work Permits
If you're looking for a work permit in the summer, you'll have to visit the SAPS Administration Building between 8am and 3pm on Monday through Thursday. Anyone can pick up a work permit, but the minor must appear with a photo ID and show evidence of age for final validation.
