Domke, Cienna

 

Hello! My name is Ms. Domke and I am from Onaway, Michigan. I have 5 sisters, 1 brother, and 7 dogs, I know orderly chaos! I'm a sucker for a sad story so I now have a 5 yro cat named Kitty who I adopted a year ago. I never thought I'd have a cat after being raised with so many dogs but I wouldn't want it any other way!

I started my college career dual enrolling while in high school and then going on to earn an Associates of Science from Delta College. I then transferred to Lake Superior State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Science with a concentration of Secondary Education and an Associates of General Studies. Before graduating college, I student taught 7th grade science at Sault Middle School and I worked as a substitute teacher for 3 years during college to gain classroom experience. Both of these experiences helped shaped me into the strong teacher I am today.

I have always loved school, sports, and I have lots of hobbies that help me relate my students. I played softball, basketball, volleyball, was on the robotics team, and worked at a restaurant while in high school. I enjoy all things outdoors like fishing, beach days, camping, hiking, etc. I also love iced coffee, pasta, sour candy, shopping, and hanging out with friends and family. I am so happy to be here teaching science and building relationships with my students!
