Welding Program

Welding Program

The welding program runs 1 or 2 hours per day determined by the students needs. The total amount of time required to complete the program is 720 hours. Approximately 20% of the time is spent in the classroom on welding related information. The remaining 80% of the time is spent on skill acquisition in the welding lab.

Students will have the opportunity to take the NOCTI National Test (computer written test) and the American Welding Society (practical test) at the end of each year. Students will receive an AWS certification and an opportunity to receive college credit for passing the NOCTI and or the AWS exam.
